If You Know, You’ll Know

You’ll never love another like you did

And I will love the way I did

You don’t know love

Because once you know it, you’ll always know

Everything will always feel so right, so effortlessly

No more of the lying, the crying,

I’ll be dancing over the moon

Back by midnight, head in the clouds

Dreaming of tomorrows, texting till morning

I’ll be wishing and hoping it was all true

And it will always be true, because I’ll know

I don’t have to second guess his love

He will show it with that heart on his sleeve

There’s nothing else in those eyes but me, and him, and us

Because once he knows my love, he’ll know no other

It’s all or nothing, it’s death till do us apart

It’s falling so hard over and over

I’ll know it when I’m home again.
